Challenge Accepted! : Jessilynn 1.6

So I am back in Jessi's house for just a few days because looking over the list I forgot to have her do the Plantsims, good thing I kept a backup of her save even though it will probably be laggy. Mission, have a playable Plantsim. Jessi with her high gardening, is perfect for this! Never playing a Plantsim in Sims 3 I had to go to my handy dandy Google tab and research what I needed to do, or I should say, what she needed to do.

And this is why this save is all wonky! Babies putting themselves to bed, this is a new one!

First order of business reset everyone! That fixed all the walking on air problems and everyone was finally able to do something instead of stand there and yell at me. Though Daisy doesn't look very happy with me now.

Jessi is a level 10 in gardening, but she needs to be a level something in science in order to make the forbidden fruit, so she gets working on that right away.

Jessi: I don't get any of this crap, its just swirls and lines.
"Yeah me either, hence why I am not in the science industry and am in the mom industry instead. Swirls and lines I get in that!"

While Jessi researched I sent Hal out to find seeds, but first I spent some of his LTR points on stupid crap. I got in the nerd, rebel and jock influences, strong stomach and festival frequenter, leaving him with about 1,000 left over.

He found 3 seeds and heads back to bring them to Jessi.

Meanwhile while he was gone and I was watching him, Jessi decided she wanted to clean the house instead of research! Ugh, she's going to be difficult with this, I can tell.

Jessi: I can't help it, the house is a sty!
"Hal can clean it when he gets home. Get to the research I want to get back to Adonis!"
Jessi: *sniffles* You love him more.
"No, his job is just more interesting!"

Level 1 and 2 I didn't get pictures of, but Jessi reaches level 3 in science.

This takes forever!! I decided to let her just research till she hit level 9. She stops to eat and use the bathroom and sleep, other than that, she is working on research only.

Level 4 and 5. I don't want to bore you like I am.

And levels 6 and 7.

And finally 8 and 9! Lets do this!

Wait, why do I have all the options besides that? *Goes back to Google* OH haha okay I got it now.

First she analyses the seeds. Then she starts her gene slicing experiment.

I don't know if that sample is going to be any good, she stuck her finger through it.

Upstairs everyone is ignoring poor Daisy, where the hell is Hal? I have no idea, I'm trying to figure this splicing thing out!

I don't get it, we analyses and then she can't do the gene slicing, but if she doesn't analyze she doesn't have the option.

Well I don't know what is going on, but she has two DNA samples in her inventory now, so she's cloning one of them. We'll see I guess.

Well fuck, that wasn't what I wanted! Welcome Specimen 4543. We'll be changing that to Sunflower! So now we have 2 clones of Jessi, one natural and one that was genetically made.

In the meantime while Jessi is cloning another baby, Hal is doing this!!! Oh wait.... it disappeared from his que when he went outside. Good!

I can mark off clone a Sims though!

Everything that I am researching says I should be able to do it now, so I sent Jessi off to the store to buy out all the seeds. Maybe the 3 I have don't work? They are rare and special, I don't know. That was a bust, now off to find more seeds.

Before she goes I have her feed Daisy since Hal is useless! She takes the poor girl outside in the pouring rain to feed her. Great parenting and I just gave her another one!

Now off to the store and to collect more seeds!

Oh! I think I know what I am doing wrong, back to the house!

Wooo! Yep, okay for anyone that wants to do this and gets confused like me. Put the seeds on the ground and click on them, you'll get the option to gene splice it. God that was hard!

Well that is not what I wanted! We're going to be here awhile.

This time she makes a midnight bean seed. I have heard you use these to get the forbidden fruit. We will see.

Liars! It just turned it back into an uncommon seed. Ugh!

Wooo oh yeah! She finally did it! Now I need one more! But first...... plant the seed!
